Drinks for two, dinner for two, appetizers and drinks for eight, etc.

Yes
Nice atmosphere for the region -- New York City style and NYC prices. Beers are good, but, c'mon -- $2 for chips and salsa? Probably trying to keep the riff raff out, but a pricey option.

Usually just drinks and dinner for one at the bar.

Yes
I LOVE MEXICAN RADIO! I usually just go in for a couple of margaritas and dinner at the bar so I can talk to my favorite bartender. When I do bring my family, we always request the upstairs so we can gaze upon Warren St. from a birds eye view. Having been to Mexico and lived in California for a bit, I can honestly say that this is the closest that I can find to authentico comida (authentic Mexican food) in the Hudson Valley. And I love the daily specials, their chef really comes up with some great new and refreshing twists on Mexican food along with some oldies but goodies favorites that I really miss and love from California. I could eat the Carne Asada Fries everyday! And being somewhat of a tequila aficionado, I love the Free tequila tastings on Thursday nights! And Pat's 3 way margarita is the best I've ever had. Service is always friendly and fastidious. I'm used to waiting sometimes 30 minutes or more to get our food at other restaurants, even when we're the only one in the place. Here I can depend on my Chimichanga being in front of me usually within 10 minutes or less from taking my order! So great food, great atmosphere, great music, great service, and just an overall great time....every time! If you haven't been, then you must go. And on your way out don't forget to purchase a bottle of one of the many hot sauces they have for sale for your own use at home. My favorite is the Georgia peach and vidalia onion hot sauce, but you will find your own!

Dinner, Drinks with friends

Maybe
I don't know what the fuss is about Mexican radio. I've been there 5 or 6 times and the food and drinks are very inconsistent! Your margarita is either salt and sour mix or so strong that one sip will knock you off your stool! The food is just okay. The atmosphere is really nice and fun and it's a good meeting spot because you can't miss it!

Hoping for a quick and delicious lunch.

Yes
Visit this restaurant whenever I make my way up to Hudson for lunch. The shrimp fajitas are amazing and would recommend to anyone. This is great new-age Mexican food at its best. The choice of hot sauces in this restaurant are pretty good too. Music and atmosphere is great, with constant music playing even during the down hours of lunch. *for a Mexican restaurant that offers spicy selections, they sure put their drinks they serve to customers in little glasses :(

Friendly, efficient, helpful.

Yes
This is the best Mexican restaurant we have found in the vicinity. Lots of interesting stuff decorates the place. Food is nice and "hot" not wimpy like many Mexican restaurants in the region. Worth a trip.

Great Mexican Restaurant...finally!

Yes
Having travelled the world looking for that perfect margarita I am thrilled to have finally found it! Mexican Radio's drinks are superb, the food is fresh and comforting and the service was the best I've seen up in these here parts for a long, long time. It's great to finally have fantastic Mexican fare so close to our back porch!

Dinner for two.

Maybe
The food and drinks are good. The scenery is Mexican. The service is perfect. The PRICE - EXPENSIVE. No complimentary chips and salsa for Mexican? Yes, no chips for salsa at this hacienda!! Be warned.
